Research Grants & Awards
The Faculty of Engineering yearly allocates some of annual budgets and incomes for research funds to support research conduction, publication charge in international journals and costs for attending international conferences, as well as to award for excellent under-graduated projects and excellent research article published in international journals. To date, only officers, staff, employees, and students are eligible.
Interested candidates should complete the application form and forward it by deadline, along with required document as mentioned in the guideline and criteria of each funding or awarding project, to Dean of the Faculty.
In ratification process and fund approval, candidates’ details of application will be sent to the committee which comprises of Dean of the Faculty and/or Deputy Dean of the Faculty and/or Program Director and/or recruited senior experts for consideration. The committee will consider the research proposal and review the candidate’s suitability to the proposed program of supports or awards with regard to qualifications, experience, funding available, allocated supervisor(s), etc.
The candidate will be informed in writing of the consideration’s outcome.
