Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Engineering (International Program)

General Information

The Doctor of Philosophy program in Biomedical Engineering is designed for students who are interested wish in the most exciting interdisciplinary research fields in biomedical engineering and sciences. The program has planned for Ph.D. students to be able to complete the degree in the minimum of three years core courses in Ph.D. program are required for all students. The remaining course requirements may be adapted to student's backgrounds and research topics. During the study, a practical training in the form of supervised research projects is nurtured for self learning by solving problems that integrates between engineering and medical sciences. Our curriculum gives to the latest research in various special topics of biomedical engineering to the students.

Qualifications of Prospective Students
Plan 1 : Research Only Plan
1.1 : Master’s degree holder category
           1) Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy or a related degree from either Thai or oversea universities accredited by Office of the Higher Education Commission.
           2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50
           3) Have and English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies
           4) Must exhibit experience and readiness to work as independent researcher at tge doctoral level. Should have the evidence through research proposal in English.
           5) Must having at least 1 research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals or other publication or accepted to be published at the international level.
           6) Exception to the above items may be made by the Program committee and the Dean of Graduate Studies.
Plan 2 : Course Work and Research Plan
2.1: Master’s degree holder category
