Engineering, Mahidol University. Along with the draft mechanical engineering curriculum proposed to the Mahidol University Council. The curriculum was approved by the Mahidol University Council on October 4th, 1989. Subsequently, the Ministry of University Affairs and the Cabinet approved the establishment of Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University and it was published in the Gazette. According to Royal Decree, the Faculty of Engineering with the Department of Mechanical Engineering was established on August 29th, 1990. There were 20 students for the first batch with Lect. Panyot Thothong as the first head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Upto now, Department of Mechanical Engineering produced 910 engineers, for the business and industrial sectors. This is the first time for ABET accreditation is sought. Therefore, there is no previous information about ABET review.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
