Hydro-Informatics and Water Management Lab (Hydro-Informatics Lab) has been established to share and transfer resourceful knowledge to communities and societies. Our research works are mainly focused to solve the water sources and environmental problems with informative technologies for sustainable development.

Research Areas
Our research areas toward hydro-informatics and water resources management are as follows:

  • Reservoir operation study with simulation and optimization models
  • Climate-hydrology forecasts using stochastic model, artificial neural networks and fuzzy logics
  • Coping with impacts of climate change on environments and water resources
  • Applications of mathematical modeling for flood and drought management
  • Geographic information system and remote sensing for environmental and water resources management
