Asst. Prof. Pornchai Bumroongsri participated in a symposium in AI in Drug Discovery: Ahead Together for Future Healthcare

On 25 October 2022, Asst. Prof. Pornchai Bumroongsri, an EGCHE faculty and the director of the Master of Engineering in Integrated Chemical Engineering program, along with representatives and administrators from Mahidol University and the Faculty of Engineering, participated in the event of AI in Drug Discovery: Ahead Together for Future Healthcare. Prof. Sirirerk Songwilai, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, acted as the chairman, greeting and welcoming all participants to the event at Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok.

On this occasion, Dr. Pornchai shared his experiences and thoughts on “AI technologies in drug discovery” along with Asst. Prof. Jaturong Pratuangdejkul, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, Assoc. Prof. Tiranee Achalakul,  the director of the Government Big Data Institute (GBDI), Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, and Dr. Natapol Pornputtapong,

Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. The section was hosted by Assoc. Prof. Vichita Ractham, dean of the College of Management Mahidol University.
