M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering (Thai Program) 

     The growth rate of Thai industrial sectors has significantly accelerated as we approach the opening of Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015. Highly-skilled human resources, including a chemical engineer, are needed for a sustainable development of the region. Therefore, the Master Program in Chemical Engineering was designed, vowing to fulfill regional demand for a creative and skillful chemical engineer in petroleum and petrochemical, plastics, textile, electronics, energy and fuels, chemicals, agro-industrial products, food and pharmaceutical industries.

      We aim to create a friendly environment for a multicultural study along with technological aspect, providing students research ability and team-working skill with our academic and non-academic activities.

Two tracks of study are available;

Plan A1: conducting research for a total 36 credits (for those who have outstanding academic or research background), and
Plan A2: Taking 24 credits of course works and 12 credits of research works.

The curriculum contains many subjects in a wide spectrum of research areas focusing on:

 
  • Advanced chemical engineering
  • Petroleum and Petrochemicals
  • Material Engineering
  • Environment and Energy Engineering
  • Biochemical Engineering
       Most of our research topics has dealt with problems from industrial sections, solving specific issues or improving process yields.
