On April 29, 2025, the Engineering for Social Responsibility (ESR) Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Assistant Professor Worawit Israngkul Na Ayutthaya, lecturer of the Department of Electrical Engineering, with Khun Sukanya Leejalearn, Head of the Engineering for Social Responsibility (ESR) Unit, and the team, donated an innovative Smart Farm system to the Khlong Yong Organic Agriculture Community Enterprise in Nakhon Pathom Province for use in developing organic farming areas.

The Smart Farm innovation that was developed helps increase the efficiency of farm management and sustainable cultivation. The results of the operation have been proven to be beneficial to the surrounding community. In addition, there has been continuous development from the University to promote the technology to the agricultural sector at the national level.

Following the success of the Khlong Yong Organic Agriculture Community Enterprise project, a planning meeting was held with the team of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, a team from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, and a team from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. This aimed to increase the efficiency of supply chain management for basil and other vegetable products in the community. The main goal is to generate income for households and create economic strength in the area.
