The Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, in collaboration with MRP Engineering Co., Ltd., developed a short training course on “Visual Inspection Level 2” under EEC Model type B guidelines to enhance the skills of the company’s personnel. This course covers both theory and practice.

Trainees learned the correct techniques for visual inspection of workpieces, can write inspection methods, analyze defects, and prepare reports according to international standards. The training had intensive evaluation for both theory and practice. Those who passed the test received international certification on April 27, 2025 from Dr. Eakkachai Warinsiriruk, the course director. He traveled to MRP Engineering Co., Ltd., Chonburi in order to present certificates to those who completed the training.

In addition, the Faculty of Engineering has also developed other courses that support the needs of target industries, such as controlling collaborative robots with PLC, laser welding. There are also courses for training drone operators to inspect liquid storage tanks and pressure tanks according to API 510 standards. Training is also available for Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and for developing creative AI applications using Generative AI.

Entrepreneurs who are interested in upgrading or reskilling their personnel to keep up with modern technology can join the short-term training program. The government will provide support for 50% of the expenses, and entrepreneurs will co-pay the other 50%.
