On May 14, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, led by Associate Professor Dr. Benchaporn Lertanantawong, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, with Department Heads and lecturers, welcomed representatives from the Institute of Technology Management and Innovation as well as the Thai Murata Electronics Trading Co., Ltd. at Meeting Room R210, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
This meeting was held to discuss cooperation guidelines for joint research development between the Department of Engineering, Mahidol University, the private sector and technology support organizations, with an emphasis on extending knowledge for suitable industrial applications.
Both parties exchanged views on the expertise of each organization, as well as discussing guidelines for jointly developing innovations and technologies that can meet the needs of the industrial sector in the digital age. These include research on smart materials, electronic systems, and smart manufacturing.
This meeting was an important starting point for cooperation between the educational and industrial sectors. It will promote the development of quality research, lead to the creation of new innovations, and drive the country's economy in the long term.
