On May 14, 2025, the Engineering for Social Responsibility of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Lect. Worawit Israngkul Na Ayutthaya, a lecturer from Electrical Engineering Department along with Khun Sukanya Leejalearn, Engineering for Social Responsibility (ESR) Unit and personnel, joined a press conference on the cooperation of the network partners (companies, independent organizations and government departments) on their projects: “Sustainable Ecosystem Employment Law for the Disabled” and the Achiwapat project. (Occupational Development).

This was organized by the Panyapat Foundation for the Disabled to promote independent careers for families of the disabled in a sustainable and holistic manner, and took place in the Vibhavadi Room, 4th floor, Princeton Park Suites Hotel (Din Daeng), Bangkok. The aim is to spread information about innovations in employment for the disabled that are internationally recognized, and to invite business establishments to be part of the network partners to create sustainable changes.

The event featured presentations of the foundation’s three key projects: “Roo Yim”, “Thailand’s 4.5 million people must have a disabled card”, and “Achiwapat” (reducing inequality, corruption, and abandonment of disabled people). This is in line with sustainable development guidelines (SDG), Goal 1: “No Poverty”, or the elimination of poverty in all forms nationwide through job creation, career creation, and empowering disabled families to be self-reliant in the long run.
