On June 10, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Wasaporn Techapeeraparnich, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, participated in the 2025 HEHE Civilization Forum held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok. The forum was organized by the International Confucian Association in collaboration with the Thai-Chinese Cultural & Relationship Council.
The event was held under the theme “Scientific and Technological Innovation and People-to-People Exchanges,” that aims to promote mutual understanding and exchange of ideas in science, technology, and international cultural relations. During the President Forum session, top executives from leading Thai and Chinese universities shared their respective visions on driving sustainable innovation and cultural exchange. Discussions also focused on “Reshaping Education through Scientific and Technological Innovations,” where participants explored ways to enhance teaching and learning using cutting-edge technology. In addition, the forum addressed “Promoting Civilizational Dialogue through People-to-People Exchanges,” emphasizing collaboration and mutual understanding among communities.
The participation of Mahidol Engineering in this event marks another key milestone in expanding international cooperation, building networks with leading Chinese universities, and strengthening research capabilities, innovation, and staff development. This effort reinforces the commitment of the university to achieving global recognition and excellence in engineering education.
