On June 11, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Weerawut Chaiwat from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Dr. Shen Treratanakulchai from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Assistant Prof. Dr. Supphachan Rajsiri, and Dr. Donlaporn Saetae from the Department of Industrial Engineering warmly welcomed Mr. Chung Nguyen Khanh, Principal of Banmai School from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, along with teachers and students. The delegation also included Dr. Kamolchanok Parkpoom, Head of Academic Affairs, and faculty members from Kanchanaphisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School. The visit was held at Meeting Room R231, 2nd floor, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Salaya
This visit was aimed at fostering mutual understanding in development of engineering curricula and preparing high school students for future engineering careers. Leaders from the institutions discussed education management in the digital era, as well as emerging trends and essential skills needed for future engineers in a rapidly changing world.
The Faculty of Engineering showcased its teaching methods, cutting-edge research, innovations, and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The visiting groups were also introduced to the three international undergraduate programs at the Faculty: Biomedical Engineering, Chemical & Process Engineering, and Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering — each designed to equip students with global competencies and technical expertise.
The exchange marked an important step towards strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam. It also opened new opportunities for educational development and human resource enhancement in the field of engineering, preparing future professionals for the challenges and demands of the global stage.
