On June 12, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, through its Social Responsibility Engineering Unit, participated in the certification meeting for soil quality, agricultural products, and services at the Phutthamonthon District Office in Nakhon Pathom Province. This certification aims to grant the prestigious "Nakhon Pathom Guaranteed" label to selected organic farming enterprises.

The team was led by Mr. Worawit Israngkul Na Ayutthaya from the Department of Electrical Engineering, along with Ms. Sukanya Leecharoen, Head of the Social Responsibility Engineering Unit, and supporting staff.

The Social Responsibility Engineering Unit has successfully developed and implemented Smart Farm technology to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the Khlong Yong Organic Agricultural Community Enterprise. This initiative not only improved agricultural productivity but also created widespread benefits for the surrounding community, setting an example of how modern technology can be integrated into traditional organic farming.

This participation marks a significant step in expanding the reach and impact of community-driven technology development. It also represents progress towards elevating the local organic farming standards to meet both provincial and national recognition, paving the way for sustainable agricultural practices in Thailand.
