On June 17, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Benchaporn Lertanantawong, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services and Assistant Professor Dr. Chamras Promptmas, Advisor to the Dean for Organizational Mission Support, along with department heads and faculty members, welcomed executives from Thai Murata Electronics Trading, Ltd —a global leader in electronics—for a co-research collaboration meeting. The session took place at the Innogineer Studio, 1st floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Executives from Thai Murata Electronics Trading, Ltd, including representatives from Japan and Singapore, engaged in discussions with Mahidol Engineering faculty members and researchers to explore potential co-research opportunities. Both sides exchanged in-depth insights on cutting-edge technologies and innovations in which they specialize. Following the meeting, the Murata delegation toured the faculty’s research laboratories including Flex Lab, BCI Lab and Chemical Engineering’s laboratories to observe the available facilities, equipment, and the capabilities of the research teams.
This meeting marks another significant milestone in establishing strong international collaboration between academia and industry. The initiative aims to develop research projects that address the evolving needs of global businesses and industries while driving forward new innovations for the international market.
