On June 18, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, along with staff and student representatives from the EG Content Creators team, visited THE STANDARD news agency to gain insights into modern media production processes.

The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including video editing, graphic design, scriptwriting, content marketing, and creative use of social media. The session was honored by the presence of Mr. Thanakorn Wongpanya, Thai News Editor at THE STANDARD, who shared valuable industry knowledge with the participants.

This initiative was organized by the Office of Corporate Communication and International Relations. The purpose was to enhance storytelling and presentation skills of staff and students. It also provided a platform for meaningful exchanges with media professionals from THE STANDARD: one of Thailand’s leading news agencies dedicated to delivering positive, reliable, and well-rounded content to the public.

During the visit, participants learned about real-world media practices and had the opportunity to explore THE STANDARD’s dynamic working environment. The experience serves as an inspiration for developing communication skills best suited for the fast-evolving digital landscape.

The activity represents a key step in integrating engineering expertise with communication proficiency, preparing students to present their research, innovations, and ideas to society more effectively, in an engaging and impactful manner.
