On July 9, 2025, the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, hosted an interactive event: Safe Zone in Action - Creating a Heart Space through Empathy and Care. This event was held to create a safe and supportive environment where students and staff could learn about mental health and develop psychological support skills.

The event was officially opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Wasaporn Techapeeraparnich, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs who welcomed all participants to Room R-238, 2nd Floor, Building 1 of the Faculty of Engineering.

Featuring expert-led sessions, the program invited Assistant Professor Dr. Somboon Hataiyusuk and Khun Kamkaew Bosakornnat to share their insights into psychology and emotional support. Participants were guided through exercises in active listening, empathetic communication, and managing challenging situations.

The event also included real-life case simulations to enhance the learning experience. These activities allowed those attending to explore emotional perspectives and practice effective peer support within the academic community at the Faculty of Engineering.
