On July 31, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Korporn Panyim, Deputy Dean for Administration and Finance, together with Associate Professor Dr. Trakarn Prapaspongsa, faculty member from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, organized a study visit as part of the “Living Lab for Sustainable Development” project. A group of 26 participants visited the Division of Physical Systems and Environment at Mahidol University to learn about practical approaches to sustainable waste management.
The group was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Itthichote Chuckpaiwong, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment. During the visit, participants attended a knowledge-sharing session on waste management strategies, with a key focus on the university’s "Recyclable Waste Bank Project"—a pioneering initiative aiming to transform waste management toward a long-term sustainable and zero-waste model.
This collaborative visit marked an important step in promoting environmental innovation within the university. It also reflected the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to advancing sustainable development through applied knowledge and real-world practice.
