On August 2, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Sotarat Thammaboosadee, Assistant Dean for Organizational Digital Transformation, participated in “The Happiness Journey,” the university-wide orientation for new graduate students held at Prince Mahidol Hall.
The event was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University, and Professor Dr. Chatchalerm Isarankura Na Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Both delivered warm welcomes and motivational addresses to the new students, offering guidance on how to navigate their academic journey and encouraging them to develop both personal and global awareness. A strong emphasis was placed on integrating knowledge with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which play a key role in shaping the future of the country.
The orientation program featured a variety of sessions, including the presentation of outstanding thesis awards, a musical performance by students from the College of Music, scholarship opportunities, and information about academic and career development in graduate studies. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of new students from across all faculties, reflecting Mahidol University's commitment to high-quality and inclusive graduate education.
