On August 19, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Founder, Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB) and Dr. Shen Treratanakulchai, a lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, welcomed Assistant Professor Dr. Yanpei Huang from the University of Sussex, UK. She was a guest speaker in the Biomedical Engineering Special Seminar Series which was hosted in Room 6373, Floor 3, Building 3 of the Faculty of Engineering.

Dr. Huang delivered a special lecture on the topic “Human Robot Shared Control in Surgery”, a cutting-edge area of research in biomedical engineering and modern medicine. The session highlighted the integration of robotics into surgical practice, enhancing precision, improving outcomes, and increasing patient safety.

The seminar provided an opportunity for students and faculty members to engage with the speaker through open discussion, a Q&A session, and knowledge exchange. The atmosphere encouraged deep academic engagement, providing exposure to global perspectives in biomedical engineering research.
