On October 16, 2025, the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB) at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, took another step toward sustainability by partnering with ZERO13 and Unique Transformation Co., Ltd. The collaboration aims to advance the “Zero Carbon” initiative through the development of practical technologies and innovations that help reduce carbon emissions to achieve a low-carbon society in the future.
This partnership, which supports the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) framework for sustainable development, was established through shared goals and knowledge exchange between academia and industry. The initiative aligns with the vision of the Faculty of Engineering to create innovative engineering solutions that benefit society and the environment.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), titled “Zero Carbon & Beyond,” took place at the Innogineer Studio, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. The event was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, with Associate Professor Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Founder of the BART LAB.
They were joined by Mr. Hirander Misra, Chairman and CEO, and Mr. Lincoln Teo, Managing Director (ZERO13 Trading) of ZERO13, with Mr. Thucksapon Thongdee, Managing Director, and Miss Saranya Thongdee from Unique Transformation Co., Ltd. The MoU marks a major milestone in strengthening collaboration toward a greener and more sustainable future.
This signing ceremony reinforces Mahidol Engineering’s leadership in environmental innovation and serves as a platform for exchanging insights and expertise among international partners. The parties aim to pioneer technologies and strategies that minimize environmental impact, inspire future generations, and contribute to building a sustainable world.
