On 22 January 2026, the Centre of Logistics Management and Healthcare Supply Chain of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic collaboration in hospital building logistics and supply chain management for Ramathibodi Hospital and the Yothi Medical Innovation District.
The ceremony took place at Meeting Room 1, Floor 5, Office of the President, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. It was witnessed by Associate Professor Dr. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, Vice President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, with executives and faculty members from both faculties.
The event was honored by opening remarks from Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Clinical Professor Dr. Artit Ungkanont, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital. Both emphasized the significance of this collaboration in strengthening organizational development and enhancing sustainable medical services. Following this, Associate Professor Dr. Duangpun Kritchanchai, Director of the Centre of Logistics Management and Healthcare Supply Chain, of the Faculty of Engineering, presented the framework of the collaboration, that focused on integrating engineering expertise with medical and healthcare systems.
The objectives of the collaboration were formally presented by Professor Dr. Atiporn Ingsathit, Director of Ramathibodi Hospital. She highlighted the shared goal of developing efficient logistics and supply chain systems to support hospital operations and innovation areas, to ensure optimal utilization of resources and improved healthcare service delivery.
The MOU was officially signed by representatives from the Faculty of Engineering: Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Associate Professor Dr. Duangpun Kritchanchai, Director of the Centre of Logistics Management and Healthcare Supply Chain; with representatives from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, namely Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and Professor Dr. Atiporn Ingsathit, Director of Ramathibodi Hospital. This agreement marks a significant step toward advancing academic collaboration and driving future development of healthcare logistics and supply chain systems in a sustainable manner.
