On January 26, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University presented research and innovations at the “FINAL PITCHING & FUND MATCHING SELECTION” event in the Mahidol x Siam AI Venture Lab 2025 Phase 2: Mentorship & Acceleration Program. The event was held at the Conference Room, Prince Mahidol Hall Conference Center, Mahidol University, Salaya. The event promoted advances in artificial intelligence research into practical applications and joint investment with the private sector.
The Faculty of Engineering presented the “MU Medical AI Hub: Application of AI and Digital Twin in Smart Hospital Management” project, developed by Associate Professor Dr. Duangpun Kritchanchai. Ms. Sirirat Srisakulwan presented the work. The project focuses on implementing artificial intelligence technology using a Digital Twin for smart hospital system management to enhance medical service efficiency and systematic resource management.
There was also a presentation of the “Physical-Agentic AI for Automated Chemotherapy- Compounding System,” developed by Dr. Eakkachai Warinsiriruk, who presented the project. This is a physical AI system that supports automated chemotherapy preparation. It helps to increase accuracy, reduce risks, and enhance safety in patient treatment processes.
Both projects received funding from the Mahidol x Siam AI Venture Lab 2025 (Fund Matching Selection) from Mahidol University and Siam AI Cloud. The participation shows the potential of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, in developing AI innovations and advanced technology that address medical and social challenges. These developments also open opportunities for commercialization and collaboration with industry, leading to future sustainable development.
