Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, welcomed a group of students and faculty members from Tamagawa University, Japan. They were visiting Mahidol University as part of the Tamagawa University Exchange Program, held from 9–12 February 2026 at the Innogineer Studio, Faculty of Engineering. The program was to strengthen academic collaboration and promote cultural exchange between the two institutions.
An official welcoming ceremony was held, featuring an introduction to the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University. This gave the visitors an overview of academic programs, teaching and learning approaches, and the university’s direction in engineering development. The atmosphere was friendly, reflecting the strong and longstanding relationship between the two universities.
During their visit, the Tamagawa University students participated in a Thai language class to help them improve basic communication skills and gain insight into Thai culture. They also joined a campus tram tour, which allowed them to experience the learning environment at Mahidol University and interact with Thai students, increasing mutual understanding and friendship.
The delegation also attended a special lecture organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering and took part in hands-on workshops with Mahidol students at the Innogineer Studio. This exchange program marks an important step in expanding international academic networks, enhancing student potential, and encouraging cross-cultural learning, paving the way for future sustainable academic cooperation.
