On March 11, 2026, a delegation from the Graduate School of Engineering at The University of Osaka was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication. She was accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Chularat Sakdaronnarong, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and faculty members from the department. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen academic engagement and introduce the Japanese delegation to the facilities and academic environment of the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University.
During the visit, the delegation toured several Department of Chemical Engineering laboratories to learn about the equipment, research facilities, and ongoing research projects in chemical engineering. The activity provided an excellent opportunity for both institutions to exchange academic knowledge, research perspectives, and experience in engineering education and research.
In addition, the visitors observed classroom activities in the department’s English-taught program, allowing them to gain insights into teaching approaches and the learning environment for students in Thailand. The visit marked another meaningful step in strengthening academic collaboration between Mahidol University and The University of Osaka, developing opportunities for future student exchanges, curriculum development, and international research partnerships.
