On March 26, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, met with executives of World Wing Enterprise Co., Ltd. in Japan to discuss strategic collaboration opportunities. He was accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication; Associate Professor Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Founder of the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB); and Dr. Nantida Nillahoot, Innovation Director of BART LAB.
During the meeting, the delegation engaged with Mr. Yasushi Koyama, President, of World Wing Enterprise Co., Ltd., along with Mr. Wataru Komoda from the Sales Department and Mr. Shinya Arakawa, Director. Both sides exchanged views and explored potential areas of cooperation between academia and industry.
World Wing Enterprise Co., Ltd. is recognized for its expertise in human movement research, physical performance training, and the application of biomechanics through its B.M.L.T. Research Lab. The company focuses on developing training programs, and rehabilitation solutions. Its products and equipment are designed to enhance health and physical performance.
The discussions centered on establishing collaborative research initiatives and advancing knowledge for the development of practical innovations and products. Both parties also emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between universities and the private sector at the international level.
They also explored the establishment of an International Collaboration Coordination Center at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. This center is expected to serve as a hub for research coordination, industry engagement, and the promotion of international academic activities.
This meeting marks another significant step in expanding global collaboration networks and reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, to advancing research and innovation on the international stage.
