On April 17, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Fortinet Inc.. The event was attended by executives, faculty members, and representatives from both organizations, who witnessed the signing at Meeting Room R210, 2nd Floor, Building 1, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
The ceremony was officially opened by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Supakorn Kangpisdan, Country Manager of Fortinet Inc. Thailand, delivered remarks outlining the objectives of the collaboration, which focus on enhancing academic capabilities, advancing technological expertise, and creating international learning opportunities.
The MOU was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon and Dr. Supakorn Kangpisdan. Witnesses included Assistant Professor Dr. Konlakorn Wongpatikaseree, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering; Associate Professor Dr. Suratose Tritilanunt, a faculty member of the same department; and representatives from Fortinet Inc. Thailand, including Mr. Puchong Chantama, Director of Sales for Education and Healthcare; Mr. Warut Watcharavikrom, Southeast Asia Marketing Manager; and Mr. Krit Sirirattapong, Education Sales Manager.
This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening academic and technological collaboration. It is expected to increase knowledge, enhance digital skills, and create new opportunities for students and staff.
