On 19 May 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, with Professor Paisarn Muneesawang, a Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, visited the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, to further strengthen international academic collaboration in engineering, technology, and innovation. The visit was also to discuss future opportunities for joint education and research initiatives between the two institutions.
The visit marked another significant milestone for the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, in expanding its global academic network with leading international universities. During the visit, the delegation explored the teaching and learning facilities, research laboratories, and advanced technological innovations at UTS, which is widely recognized as one of Australia’s leading universities in science, engineering, and technology.
Members of both institutions exchanged ideas on curriculum development, international learning enhancement, as well as student and staff exchange programs. They also examined opportunities to advance collaborative research and innovative projects that could create a positive impact on society and industry in the future.
