On 22 June 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, welcomed executives from Autodidactic Co., Ltd. and Pudu Robotics, leading developers and manufacturers of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) from the People’s Republic of China. The meeting was held in Room R210, Building 1 of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, to discuss potential collaborations in education, research, and the future development of robotics technologies.
The delegation was received by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, with Associate Professor Dr. Benchaporn Lertanantawong, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, and Professor Dr. Paisarn Muneesawang, a member of the Department of Computer Engineering. The parties exchanged ideas on advancing cooperation in robotics and automation technologies to strengthen teaching and learning, research activities, and knowledge transfer to the industrial sector.
Pudu Robotics is internationally recognized for its expertise in developing Autonomous Mobile Robots for a wide range of applications. Its portfolio includes educational and engineering robots, robots for hospitals and public spaces, commercial delivery robots, autonomous cleaning robots, industrial robots, and various service robots that have been widely adopted in many countries around the world.
The meeting marked another important step in developing international collaboration between academia and industry. Through this partnership, both sides aim to advance knowledge, technology, and innovation in intelligent robotics while supporting workforce development and contributing to the sustainable growth of Thailand’s future industries.
