On August 8, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, hosted the Graduate Student Orientation for Academic Year 2026 to welcome new Thai and international students to the Mahidol Engineering community. The orientation was to help students prepare for their graduate studies and gain a better understanding of academic life, as well as the resources available, and opportunities at the Faculty. The event was held at Meeting Room 6450, 4th Floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
The event was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, who officially welcomed the new students and invited them to become part of the Mahidol Engineering family. Assistant Professor Dr. Wasaporn Techapeeraparnich, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, also delivered a report outlining the objectives of the orientation and the Faculty’s commitment to supporting students throughout their academic journey.
The orientation also featured introductions to the Faculty’s executive team, department heads, graduate program directors, and program coordinators. This provided students with an opportunity to become familiar with the faculty members and staff who will play important roles in supporting their academic studies, research activities, and university life. The session also helped students better understand the academic structure and available support services within their respective programs.
Assistant Professor Dr. Wasaporn Techapeeraparnich also gave the incoming students important information on scholarship opportunities, English language requirements, the Student Service system, as well as the facilities and services available across the University. The orientation concluded with souvenir presentations and a group photo, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the new students. Through this annual orientation, Mahidol Engineering continues to strengthen its commitment to empowering students and supporting their success in education, research, and personal development at an international level.
