On October 1, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Metthier Co., Ltd. at Innogineer Studio, 1st Floor, Building 3 of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. The agreement was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and Mr. Kayon Tantichatiwat, Chief Executive Officer of Metthier Co., Ltd.
The ceremony was attended by executives and representatives from both organizations. The collaboration will strengthen the partnership between academia and the business sector by promoting the exchange of knowledge, professional experience, and best practices. It will also create opportunities for the application of engineering knowledge in real-world settings and enhance students’ skills to meet the evolving needs of the industrial sector.
During the ceremony, Dr. Rojjalak Chuckpaiwong, Deputy Dean for Strategic Management and Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Engineering, outlined the background and development of the MoU. Mr. Kayon Tantichatiwat, Chief Executive Officer of Metthier Co., Ltd., then presented the objectives and shared goals of the collaboration. The ceremony continued with the formal signing, witnessed by Dr. Rojjalak Chuckpaiwong and Mr. Attaporn Damrongkul, Business Development Director at Metthier Co., Ltd.
This partnership marks another important step in connecting academic knowledge with industrial expertise. Through this collaboration, Mahidol Engineering and Metthier will be able to expand opportunities for learning, develop practical skills aligned with the demands of the future workforce, and build on their cooperation in academic development and human resource capacity building.
