On March 26, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, led by the Engineering for Social Responsibility (ESR) and the Department of Electrical Engineering, visited community areas to engage in meetings reviewing village-level agricultural development plans. They collaborated with the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Office at the Community Rice Center in Hom Kret Subdistrict, Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The purpose was to identify groups of farmers with the potential to produce quality agricultural products, selecting one village per district for each product type, and facilitating integrated production process development. The goal is to develop valuable agricultural products for the province. Lect. Worawit Israngkul Na Ayutthaya and Khun Sukanya Leejalearn served as speakers, alongside key participants such as relevant government agencies, educational institutions in the surrounding community area, and other related agencies. They collaborated to analyze and propose work plans, utilizing engineering technology to enhance efficiency. This activity serves as an academic service to society, contributing to income generation for sustainable communities in alignment with SDG 17 (Sustainable Development Goals). It represents a step forward in implementing social policy guidance.
