The Faculty of Engineering is now open for the submission of applications to the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Biomedical Engineering (International Program) for Direct Admission to the Faculty, for Academic Year 2021. The Faculty of Engineering hereby announces details on admissions as follows:

2. Admission requirements
2.1 Certificate indicating the completion of high school degree
2.1.1 Completion or currently studying Mathayom 6 in Science-Mathematics program 2.1.2 Completion or currently studying Grade 12 or Year 13 or equivalent
2.2 Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPAX) ≥ 3.50 (at least 4 semesters)
2.3 Certified copy of the most recent transcript showing the applicant's grades in Science, Math, English and Biology ≥ 3.25 during high school (except qualified person 2.1.2)
2.4 The applicant meets the English proficiency requirement by achieving a minimum score of one of the following English proficiency exams:
2.4.1 IELTS Academic Test at least 5.5
2.4.2 TOEFL Paper-based (TOEFL-ITP) at least 500
2.4.3 TOEFL Internet-based (TOEFL-IBT) at least 64
2.4.4 MU Grad Test at least 70
2.4.5 MU-ELT at least 91
2.4.6 SAT I (Reasoning Test) at least 1,000
Note: English proficiency examination should have been taken no more than 2 years before the interview date.
2.5 The applicant must have no medical condition and severe color blind which may interfere the education.
3. Supporting documents
3.1 Certificate indicating the completion of high school degree or equivalents approved by the Ministry of Education of Thailand
3.2 A Certified copy of the most recent transcript showing the applicant’s grades in 4 semesters or 6 trimesters based on education system and a Certified Copy of the Applicant’s Recommendation Form (ใบรับรองผู้สมัคร) for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology GPA. In 4 semesters.
3.3 A photocopy of identification card and house registration (Thai residents only) or a photocopy of passport (Non-Thai applicants)
3.4 1x1 inch, straight-faced photo
3.5 A photocopy of a change of name/last name certificate (only if different from name/last name in the documents required for application)
3.6 Portfolio
3.7 Statement of purpose (1 page, A4) expressing the purpose of study in biomedical engineering program and expected career
3.8 Recommendation: 3 letters
3.9 Official report of one of the following English proficiency tests (the score result must not be older than 2 years from the application date):

3.9.4 MU-ELT
3.9.5 SAT I (Reasoning Test)
3.10 Certificate from a government hospital to certify that the applicant is not severe color blind and has no health conditions which may interfere the education
The applicant must bring all original and/or copied documents and the original bank deposit slip in the interview date. All copied documents must be certified that they are true copies of the original documents, signed and dated.

4.2 The applicant submits the completed application form and supporting documents (see Section 3) in person or by email:

The Faculty of Engineering will make the final decision for the admission according to the following criteria:
6.1 Portfolio, Statement of purpose and Recommendation (40 %)
6.2 Transcript (20 %)
6.3 English proficiency tests (20 %)
6.4 Interview score (20 %)
