Dr.Pornpen Limpaninlachat- Program Secretary together with the Program members; Asst. Prof .Dr. Wasaporn Techapeeraparnich, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wutjanun Muttitanon, Lect Dr. Totsawat Daungwilailuk, Lect Dr. Punyaanek Srisurin and Lect Dr. Pattharaphon Chindasiriphan and senior students.

On 3 Aug 2024, Faculty of Graduate Studies organized orientation for Thai Graduate students. During the event FGS introduced “Mahidol University Graduated Students Union (Green Generation 2023-24)”, appreciated their hard work awarded them with the Certificate of Appreciation for their active and significant participation in Graduate students activities of the academic year 2023-24. Our Master Degree Student Mr. Murad Ali Khan, from the department of civil and environmental engineering, who has been the part of that student received “Certificate of Appreciation” for the academic year 2023. Currently he is working with “Unique Generation 2024” and motivate the students to join the Mahidol University graduate students union to boost up your communication, presentation and leadership qualities.

The Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University held the Mahidol Engineering Maker Expo 2024 “Capstone Project Presentation”

The Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University held the Mahidol Engineering Maker Expo 2024 “Capstone Project Presentation” on May 16, 2024.

This event showcased the engineering projects of fourth-year students for the academic year 2024. The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Ittichote Chakkraphayong, the Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Development, with Associate Professor Dr. Thanaphat Vanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and other faculty executives in attendance. The event took place at Mahidol Sitthakarn, Mahidol University.

The Mahidol Engineering Maker Expo 2024 aimed to promote the exchange and dissemination of knowledge and innovative research works by students, which address societal, economic, and environmental needs. It provided a platform for entrepreneurs from various business and industrial sectors to meet with student makers, facilitating discussions for potential collaborations to further develop research and innovations for commercial applications. Additionally, the event served to prepare students for their professional careers.

The 7th Kyoto University ‐ Mahidol University On‐site Laboratory Workshop.

On February 23, 2024, Mahidol University and Kyoto University jointly hosted the 7th Kyoto University‐Mahidol University On‐site Laboratory Workshop using hybrid mode (both online and face-to-face) at Innogineer Studio, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. The workshop opened with addresses from Professor Yasuyuki Kono, Kyoto University’s vice-president for international strategy, and from Professor Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. The keynote presentation of an overview of the On-site Laboratory and its activities was then delivered by Professor Shinya Echigo from Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies (GSGES).
The Parallel Research Sessions followed with researchers from the two universities divided into groups focusing on: 1) Environmental Science and Engineering; 2) Chemical Engineering; 3) Agriculture and Ecosystem; and 4) Public Health. Recent developments and notable achievements in each of these sessions were shared. Additionally, the plenary session was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwanna Kitpati Boontanon from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, and Prof. Shinya Echigo from GSGES, Kyoto University.
The workshop was concluded with closing remarks delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Special Affairs, and from Professor Makoto Usami, Vice Dean of GSGES, Kyoto University.
